EZLaunch consists of a single screen which fills the entire desktop. It displays a list of EZReader applications.
EZLaunch does not provide a toolbar.
The keyboard up/down arrow keys are used to move from one app in the list to the next. As an app is selected, it is highlighted and spoken out loud. The user presses ENTER to open the app. EZLaunch will verbally announce the name of the app that is being opened.
EZLaunch is populated with the same icons/applications as are included on the EZTaskBar and in the same order, with the following
exceptions.
Unlike other EZReader applications, EZLaunch has no toolbar across the top of the screen. Instead, keyboard shortcuts are used to enter commands and take various actions. With EZLaunch, most shortcuts are single key actions, but a few include Ctrl-Shft.
EZLaunch is an alternative to the EZReader EZTaskBar. It allows blind users to easily identify and open the applications available in the EZReader software suite.
